Last Thursday, 26th June, Captive Minds and Glenfiddich joined forces to unveil Glenfiddich’s latest luxury expression, Glenfiddich Excellence 26 Year Old. It is the first 26 Year Old expression from the family-run distillery and an important addition to their prestigious collection of aged single malts.
The Launch took place at the prestigious Hospital Club in Covent Garden where Captive Minds took over The Gallery and showcased the works of celebrated landscape photographer, Simon Butterworth. Butterworth exhibited 26 images that told the story of the whisky from cask to bottle: from the American Oak being felled to the moment it reaches the highlands of Scotland. Brand Ambassador Jamie Milne presented four short films explaining the process of creating the Excellence 26 Year Old and Captive Minds orchestrated a live video call with the Kevin Cooperage Distillery, all the way in Kentucky, where the journey of the single malt expression started. This, most importantly, was followed by the unveiling of the Glenfiddich Excellence 26 Year Old where guests were lucky enough to sample this rare whisky for themselves.
100 select guests, from whisky connoisseurs to hotel managers to press, were invited to the launch and enjoyed a fantastic evening with Glenfiddich and the Captive Minds team.
