It’s been a Royal week for the Captive Minds team as the agency started the week with Prince Harry at the Red Carpet Gala Screening of Zulu for the film’s 50th anniversary and finished it with Prince Charles for the commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the Campaign for Wool.
The Campaign for Wool is a global endeavour initiated by HRH The Prince of Wales, to raise awareness amongst consumers about the unique benefits of wool, the ultimate natural renewable and biodegradable fibre. The event, hosted by The Prince at his home Clarence House, was a celebration of wool and everything this sustainable material contributes to The Great British High Street, namely fashion and interiors.
As part of the day Prince Charles showed the biodegradable benefits of the fibre by burying a wool sweater and a synthetic lookalike in the Clarence House flowerbeds. A screening was then shown to the guests of a recent burn test involving a wool duvet, jacket and carpet alongside their synthetic counterparts being set alight to showcase the natural flame retardant attributes of wool.
In attendance were key guests from the world of brands and fashion and of course, Captive Minds, who carried out all the event management and logistics including carrying out the very burn test screened by The Prince.
