We love a good dram at Captive Minds. The office preference is to drink it either straight up or with a touch of water (to release the aroma, of course!). Thanks to the award winning campaign from Suntory, our new method of drinking whisky is over ice shaped like Michaelango’s David.
The agency behind the campaign, TBWA Hakuhodo, utilized CNC milling technology to carve ice cubes into highly detailed iconic forms. These ranged from the Statue of Liberty to Mario to Godzilla. The result is a set of stunning imagery that is so tempting it would appeal to even the non-whisky drinker.
It really is a beautiful marriage of technology and craftsmanship that compliments their current positioning – “The Art of Japanese Whisky”.
